超強寒流席捲北半球，全台也是各地冷颼颼，又伴隨變種疫情升溫，許多前景和決策對多數人來說都是「如履薄冰」，對未來處於一種緊張又未知的狀態。

如果踩在微薄的冰上，可能會因為施加的壓力和重量而壓迫冰層，掉進冰下急凍的水中，會有失溫或其他危險發生。
因此當在形容做一件冒險的事情，或是談論可能會有負面抨擊的觀點時，就可以用「像踩在冰上」來形容這種緊張又高風險的處境。

"on thin ice"意思就是「各種危險的處境」，通常會用"walking on thin ice", "skating on thin ice" 或 "trending on thin ice" ，像是在薄冰上行走一般危險，來表達處於高風險或是可能帶來危險的處境。

📌 British hockey fears virus could put sport on thin ice.
英國曲棍球擔心病毒會使體育運動陷入困境。

📌 If you keep buying things you can't afford with your credit cards you'll be treading on thin ice in a very short period of time.
如果你持續用信用卡買你負擔不起的東西，你很快就會陷入財務困境。

📌 We knew we were skating on thin ice when we brought fake IDs to try to get in the bar.
當我們帶假身分證試圖混進酒吧時，其實就知道這是很冒險的事情。
