1. Head over heels 愛得神魂顛倒
be in love with somebody deeply
ex. I am head over heels with her.
我為她神魂顛倒。

2. Hung the Moon 非常崇拜某人
to idealize someone; to think someone is extremely wonderful, or amazing, or good
ex. Sherry won’t listen to any negative comments about Joe. She thinks he hungs the moon and stars.
Sherry不理會關於Joe的負面評價。在她心目中Joe就是她最崇拜的對象。

3. Love at first sight 一見鍾情
falling in love with somebody the first time you see them
ex. Do you believe in love at first sight? Maybe some people just don’t realize if that moment is love or just an attraction.

6. On the rocks （感情）遇到危機；瀕臨崩解的狀態

ex. I wonder if they will break up soon. Their relationship seems to be on the rocks.

7. Love rat 偷情者
somebody who cheats on his/her partner
ex. The pop star is claiming that her husband is a love rat.

8. Leave somebody at the altar 婚前逃婚；悔婚
decide not to marry somebody just before the wedding
ex. Her fiancé left her at the altar because he still have feelings for his ex-girlfriend.

9. Break up/ Split up (with somebody) 分手
end the relationship
ex. I was consoling Betty on having broken up with her boyfriend. She was having such a tough time 2 years ago.

10. Walk out on somebody 拋棄某人
to suddenly leave your partner and end the relationship with them
ex. He walked out on his wife and kids because of his mistress. What a selfish man!

11. Blind date 相親
a date between two persons who have not previously met
ex. My mom keeps arranging blind dates for me. She had been trying to fix me up with someone she knew from her job all the time!
我媽一直幫我安排相親。她一直試圖把我和她在工作上認識的人湊一對！

12. Blinded by love 為愛盲目
when a person is so madly in love with somebody that they can’t see the person’s faults or negative characteristics
ex. Don’t be so blinded by love! You’re turning a blind eye to his fatal flaws and the fact that he’s wrong for you.
不要那麼為愛盲目好嗎！你對他的致命缺陷視若無睹，也忽視其實他並不適合你的事實。

13. Carry a torch for somebody 單戀或暗戀某人；對某人單相思
to love someone romantically who does not love you; to continue to be in love with someone even after a relationship has ended
ex. Although she broke up with her ex-boyfriend 5 years ago, she still carrying a torch for him.

14. May-December romance 忘年戀；老少配（通常指姊弟戀）

15. Old Flame 老情人；舊愛
a person that you loved or had a sexual relationship with in the past
ex. “Old flames die hard” means it's very difficult to forget old things, especially the first love.
「舊情難忘」的意思就是對於過往的事物仍有眷戀，尤其是初戀。
